Intended to be the backbone of the German panzer corps, the Panzer III fought from the start of World War 2 through 1943.  This video explains a bit of the development of the type and spends a considerable amount of time on the use and impact of Panzer III tanks in North Africa and especially Russia.  This is an interesting documentary as tells the historical story and focuses on this particular vehicle’s contribution as a part of the whole.
